Statement

Seul-Ki Kang (digitypo) focuses on using new technologies for recreating traditional objects and ideas contained in human emotions and senses that are important for interaction and UI. For this reason, he has been working at Nexon since 2010, and also worked for developing experiences for objects, human-centred interaction at V lab.(A new media art laboratory at Vinyl in Korea) from 2007 to 2009. Furthermore, he is a director of atoyfactory(2005), is a new project group with the objective of creating interactive plays and toys.
He graduated from MA Interactive Digital Media at Ravensbourne College of Communication and Design.
His background is Typo/Graphic design. When he was a graphic designer in Korea before he came to London in 2002. He was involved professional projects, based on the web and advertisements, in Hyundai, Carrefour and more. I have recently designed websites for London knowledge Lab, an exhibition "From Here To Here - Circle Line project" in London, an exhibition "Seoul Until Now", in Denmark, and many other projects as a professional graphic designer. His work includes both concept design for new interactive products and art related projects after graduating BA Graphic and Media Design from London College of Communication, London.
